Although it has been a month since Euro Domination league (season 14) has finished, the question about the winner of CoD2 part of the league, for "Guards Armoured" division has now finally resolved. We are announcing with pride that Elite Tigers team won this league and got another medal, this time the shiniest one -

gold medal

And why did we get it a month later? When this season 14 ended, most clans complained about the rules which were changed for this season but without any big announcement, so not everybody knew about it and thought, like ourselves, that the same rules apply like in previous season. Old rules said "clans with most countries win", but rules for this season were "clans with most cities win". Because of this mix up, admins decided for playoffs to be played, so we did. We won our playoff by "no-show", 1:0 for us and by that we confirmed the 1st place in the league since we were number one in the first place (with most countries).

This is our first gold medal, let it be first one of many to come.

Clan profile on Euro Domination

As every year when summer hits our part of the world, Tigers are leaving their jungle and going off to explore the world. No, no, don't think we're running away from something or that we're breaking apart; if those are your thoughts than shame on you. Summer is the time when Tigers are taking some free time, away from Call of Duty and computers all together. In another words, during the summer we will not play in any league (ClanBase, Euro Domination) or any other official match.

The following text is a summary of our current season, 2008/2009. Let's see what we did:

This season started by arrival of a new member - ONeill. Although he's a total enigma for us, his arrival to this clan was like a new start, he took care of our web site and forum. Then we registered our team at Euro Domination league and with this new league we have also played on ClanBase.

We took two CoD2 10-slots server, where one was for Edom league and the other was for ClanBase, which was an excellent solution for us since those two leagues have different settings.

Few other new members have come to our lair, but we have also lost one of the oldest (gaming wise) members - Yaro.

Even without him, our gameplay has improved significantly, and to support this fact, here are our results of this season:
• CoD2 "Road to Victory" tournament, season 4 - 2nd place
• E-Dom League, season 14, CoD2, division "Guards Armored" - 1st place
• Open Cup Spring 2009, CoD2 CTF, 4th league - 3rd place
• Open Cup Spring 2009, CoD2 S'&D, 2nd league - 2nd place

About ClanBase ladders, here are our current standings:
• Call of duty 2 Search and Destroy Euro ladder – 71st place
• Call of duty 2 Search and Destroy 2 v 2 ladder – 177th place
• Call of duty 2 Search and Destroy 3 v 3 ladder – 219th place

The 71st place is our best rank on ClanBase Euro ladder ever.

We are very happy and proud of the results for this season, but also we are happy because of the fact our gameplay has improved much more than the last season.

Hope we'll have at least an equal success in the next season, 2009/2010 which starts in autumn and which we'll start by attending LAN tournament CoD˙hr #3.

That's all about pour gaming results. Other things we should mention are Download section we have on our web site, and cd-key sales department for Call of Duty keys which are 100% legit.

Also, because of our great results, we have worked out a sponsorship with "Orion Servers" crew and as a result we now have 10-slot Cod2 server to use, along with Mumble communication server.

This season is over, it's time for summer break, swimming and all other summer things. See ya again in autumn.

Despite our defeat in semi-final of OpenCup Spring 2009 competition, faith wanted us to win something in this cup because of our activity if nothing else. Since we have lost in semi-final, we should have played for the 3rd place, but the match of the 2nd semi-final in our league wasn't played at all, that's why we automatically ended this competition as #2 and ... This is a great end of OpenCup season, along with winning the bronze medal in CTF OpenCup part.

In two days from now, on Saturday June 18, 2009 to be more precise, in club Macao located at Jarun lake, lan tournament will hold place for Call of Duty 2 (Call of Duty 4 is a day after , on Sunday) , called ALL PLAY & MEDIA EVENT. At this moment for Call of Duty 2 there are registered 10 teams, including us. This LAN we will play in different line up since last LAN.

We didn't prepare ourselves too much for this tournament concrete, but we hope to go through the group stages and of course, to have a great time.

Last month, Activision announced that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had sold 13 million copies at retail, and today they announced that Call of Duty 5: World At War has sold 11 million since hitting shop shelves November 11th, 2008. Statement from Activiosn:

The second Call of Duty: World At War map pack is now available for download on Xbox Live and Playstation Network! In addition, a new patch has been released:

• Significantly streamlined MP matchmaking
• Increased the number of safety checks in the MP spawn system to prevent players from spawning within the line of sight of an enemy
• Implemented a new stats backup system – this system creates a regular backup snapshot of player stats; if the game detects data corruption, instead of attempting to reset the player to level 1, it will notify the player that their stats have been restored to the most recent backup
• Addressed a rare occurrence referred to as the “dummy glitch” in MP, where players would appear to be prone in 3rd person but would have a standing view in 1st person
• Patched several possible MP map exploits
• Improved dog spawning in MP
• Improved AI path-finding in Nazi Zombies to prevent potential exploits
